Municipal Solid Waste Management
Government has given special drive for door to door collection of garbage and scientific management of Municipal Solid Waste in all the Urban Local Bodies. To take the management of Municipal Solid Waste into "Mission Mode", the "Andhra Pradesh Integrated Solid Waste Management Board" has been constituted. The entire budget allocation of Rs. 375.00 Crores under 12th finance commission is being utilized for scientific management of Municipal Solid Waste so to make Andhra Pradesh the most clean state in the country.
Government has taken comprehensive integrated management of municipal solid waste with an estimated cost of Rs.897.00 crores in GHMC area to make the city cleaner.
